Ikebana is the Japanese art of floral arrangements. Emerging from the practice of placing floral offerings within Buddhist temples, ikebana gained popularity in the 5th century as a dignified means to welcome guests to their homes (and castles). Modern ikebana gives more emphasis on freedom of expression and is used to bring a touch of joy into everyday life. Join us to learn about this traditional art form and experience creating your very own freestyle arrangement to bring home.
