Come join us for our first virtual faculty talk by Columbia Professor Michael Nutter, former Mayor of Philadelphia. We have secured the top (8th) floor Board Room of The Capital Grille (Buckhead location) for this event. Prof. Nutter will discuss his run for mayor and how he formed a coalition from a base of support that set the stage for two productive terms as mayor. This faculty talk with Q&A will be live-streamed from New York to select CAA regional clubs (Atlanta, Dallas and Minneapolis). Nutter's anecdotes, advice, and insights will be sure to inspire anyone with a desire to understand municipal government and an aspiration to effect positive change in the lives of people and their communities. Learn firsthand ways a large city can better serve and open up greater opportunities for its people.
The talk starts at 7:30 pm and there will be an hour before or after the event to network, connect and socialize with other Columbia Club of Atlanta members.
** Due to the incredible response we have received, this event has reached the capacity of the venue. Thank you for your interest and we hope to have more events like this in the future **
