Join Columbia alum and High Museum Coordinator of Museum Interpretation Virginia Sweeny CC’10 as we explore The High’s retrospective of work by Wifredo Lam, a preeminent artist of Latin American origin and one of the Surrealist movement's most influential figures. Wifredo Lam: Imagining New Worlds will feature more than 40 paintings and a selection of drawings, prints and ephemera by the internationally renowned, Cuban-born artist. Also on view for you to stroll through, at your leisure, after the tour are 2 solo exhibitions by leading contemporary Americans: Brooklyn based, Jose Parla and Atlanta based Fahamu Pecou.
